As an organisation we offer over 120 years combined experience, yet a dynamic and relationship focused approach to successfully sourcing and acquiring the finest property and surpassing client expectations.

All of Garrington’s search consultants live and work in the regions they serve. Without exception they all have a minimum of five years industry experience and extensive contacts to assist clients.

Phil Martin

Phil MartinPhil has a career background in international business management at senior board level as an Information Technology executive, having held senior IS/IT roles with several global companies including IBM, and been the Vice President responsible for Information Services throughout Europe and Asia within Reebok International. Other roles have seen Phil based in Frankfurt, Geneva and Venice.

Phil has extensive experience in the residential property market in a number of regions of England. He originates from Cumbria, is based in Cheshire, and offers a wide range of contacts and connections in a variety of property related professions and disciplines, and a wealth of local knowledge of the whole North West region.

During Phil’s work in recent years on behalf of Garrington clients, he has purchased many prime residential properties ranging from luxury city centre apartments in Manchester to multi-million pound country houses in Cheshire’s “golden triangle”, central Lancashire, Shropshire and the Lake District.

Specific examples include one of the very few lakeside properties on the favoured eastern shore of Windermere, an idyllic country house with literary connections overlooking Coniston Water, a classic Georgian farmhouse with land in North Shropshire, a quintessential extended Cheshire barn conversion, and a small equestrian estate in a hidden corner of Lancashire.

Phil has frequently been able to source properties either “pre” or “off market”, ensuring that his clients are often the first to gain access to a home they would not have discovered without his professional help and advice.

Support Team

Jennifer Mullucks, Search Assistant

Jennifer MullucksJennifer was born and raised in The Netherlands where she spent the larger part of her life. After finishing her degree in Tourism, Jennifer worked as an event organizer for several years and thereafter as the PA to the Global Advertising Director of Adidas based in Amsterdam. In this time she gained a wealth of experience honing her administrative, operational and organizational skills.

In 1999 she was ready for a new challenge and decided to relocate to London. Her first job was in the property industry and after realizing it was something she was passionate about, Jennifer worked for several prime London estate agencies in Hammersmith, Kensington and Pimlico. After some time managing the lettings department of a large estate agency, she moved to Cambridge with her family and continued her career in the property industry by joining Garrington in 2008.

Initially, Jennifer worked as a search consultant, however after returning from maternity leave she is now responsible for all client service related matters from initial enquiry to client after care. Furthermore Jennifer gives support to the associates and the administration department where needed.

Jennifer is fluent in Dutch and speaks several other languages including French and German. In her pass time she enjoys travelling and spending time with her young family.

Lynne West, Operations Manager

Lynne WestThroughout her career Lynne has worked mainly in the areas of Office Management, Event Management and Customer Service. In this time she gained experience being a PA at board level, organising trade shows and heading up a customer service team.

After nearly 20 years working mainly in the Telecommunications industry, Lynne decided that it was time for a new challenge. In 2009 the opportunity arose to join the Garrington team in a key role as an Operations Assistant. With a wealth of administrative experience coupled with extensive customer service skills, Lynne ensures that the operational side of Garrington runs smoothly and efficiently. As an important linchpin of the organisation, Lynne’s support to the management team and network of associates is invaluable.

When not at work, Lynne enjoys spending time with her family and is an active committee member of her son’s football and cricket clubs.

Alexandra Nicol, Operations Assistant

Alexandra NicolAfter successfully graduating with a triple Distinction in Hospitality, Alexandra worked at a privately owned country house as an events coordinator, gaining a wealth of experience for the planning and organising of important corporate and private events. It did not take long before a natural affiliation and appreciation of the architecture of the building became the beginning of her journey into the property sector, and it soon became the natural choice to join Garrington.

Alexandra’s comprehensive understanding of customer service, excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail enables her to carry out a pivotal role, to ensure that client searches are supported to the highest possible standard.

Away from work Alexandra’s hobbies include baking, walking her dogs, fly fishing in Scotland, reading and eating out.
